The 2009 Model
Boat Exhibition at Kyla Sport and Recreation Hall was a
major success with over 800 patrons through the doors.
All up over $1900
was raised on the day with all net proceeds going to the
Moruya Hospital Auxiliary.
The Tuross Model
Ship group would like to thank the public for their support
over the two days with special thanks to the volunteers
of the Moruya Hospital Auxillary, the many friends and relatives
who pitched in in setting up and packing up and to Council
for halving the hall hire fees for the occasion.
The three raffles
were popular and the winners were Pat Bashford winning a
prize donated by Dorothy Moore from her incredible collection
of needlework with the two doanted Pelicans from Lindsay
Stewart going to the Kentwells and the Brantinghams. A model
ship donated by Model Shipyard was won by Lukeman.
